1. Initial consultation
2. Get measurements
3. Draft As Built (if needed)
4. Create rough draft
5. Go through changes and draft final floor plan
6. Draft rest of plans
7. Make changes as necessary throughout building process

What’s Included

Depending on the project you will have what you need to get bids and quotes from contractors and builders. Whether you need a full set of permit plans or simply need elevation drawings for a new kitchen, Design Draft build will help you on your way and access what is needed for your specific project.

Builder Handoff process

DDB will work with any contractor on all projects designed by them. Open communication is a must and encouraged between designer and builder.

Estimated Time

Each project is unique. Every project will have a different timeline. Be prepared for a lot communication and questions to ensure your project is on track and going in the right direction. New custom designed homes can take up to 6 months. Most remodel projects will take up to 2-4 months depending on the extent of the scope of work. Kitchen remodels will take up to one month.

Fees

Level 1: Design Consultation- $125/hour

Level 2: Walk-through Consult- $200 Includes a walk-through of the space and a typed out guide at the end of the meeting to help guide you if you want to “do-it-yourself.”

Level 3: Full Design- $2/square foot. This means, if the project has 1,000 square feet the cost will be $2,000 for all plans and meetings.
