About

Design Philosophy

Design Draft Build is a welcoming design firm willing and ready to help our clients through the design process for their home or office. Our design mantra is, “A home doesn’t have to be new to be loved.” Whether needing to update an existing home or start form scratch we want each client that works with DDB to leave loving their space. We believe in proper function and timeless design. Every client has different needs and unique styles. Our goal is to leave every client satisfied with their investment and loving their home.

Education

I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2011 from a fully accredited Interior Design Program (at the time referred to as FIDER). While a student, I was asked to be the department tutor for Interior Design students for the final two years of my program. AutoCAD expert. Proficient in 20/20.

Experience

While in school, I took an internship position at Boston Cabinets, a kitchen and bath remodeling company. My husband also got a job for a Consigli, a construction company. We both loved our jobs (and Boston) so much that we returned after graduating to work full-time as a kitchen and bath designer (Ciara) and project manager (Kent). Once we started a family in 2012, we headed to Texas to work for Green Mark Build. I have been drafting new builds, additions, and remodel plans for the company ever since. I also do freelance work.
